Maya City Generation - Disseration

My thesis topic I decided to research upon for my final project was the procedural processes within gaming. I decidedon this as i felt that the automation of content creation in the gaming industry would benefit me in gaining an insight into alternative methods of creating content instead of the traditional methods that are widely used. Many new developers have incorporated this practice in the building of their games including many AAA titles such as Gearbox Software's Borderlands series.This practice can be used in creating content from minor item creation to major world landscape creation. My thesis below gives a more indepth look into the practice including my final project creation a Autodesk Maya MelScript built city generator.
